I originally ordered the Victory Tank in a Small, since it was the smallest size available at the time and closest to my build. Since then, they’ve added an XS, which honestly may solve part of my original sizing concern.
Fit & Shape:
The Small has a very boxy, oversized cut. The shoulders run wide — slightly past my natural shoulder line — giving it that strong pump-cover look. The length, however, is perfect. I wouldn’t change that at all.
With the new XS option, I think the overall proportions may balance out better for a leaner build like mine. That’s a big plus.
Material:
The heavy 100% cotton is one of my favorite parts. It feels thick, structured, and durable — not thin or flimsy. Definitely built more like a sturdy cover shirt than a lightweight tank.
Arm Holes:
The cutoff, frayed arm openings give it that raw gym look. I’m still unsure how they’ll hold up long term, but visually they fit the style.
Neckline (My Main Note):
The neckline on the Small felt a bit tight relative to the oversized body. It rode slightly high on the front of my neck, and I found myself adjusting it unless it was tucked.
Overall:
Great quality. Strong pump cover. Solid structure.
The addition of an XS is a great move and likely fixes the overall sizing issue for slimmer builds. If the neckline gets refined in the future, this piece would be close to perfect.
